Median Sale Price
Home sellers are continuing to experience a rise in sale prices across the region with the Nelson and Tasman median sitting at $530,000 and $642,000 respectively. Particularly good news for homeowners in the Tasman region with the median sale prices hitting a new record high.
Days to Sell
The median number of days to sell nationally sat at 41; Nelson bucked the trend considerably with property taking shy of 4 weeks, at only 27 days to sell.
While we saw an increase in the total number of properties available for sale compared to this time last year; overall, inventory remains at historic lows. With the total number of buyers far exceeding availability - the old age adage of supply and demand remains. Great news for home sellers!
At Summit, we are all about getting our clients the best buyer. We are committed to getting your property into over 98% of residences within our Summit Property Weekly magazine. The Summit Weekly continues to attract a high number of buyers. It is just one of the marketing methods we employ to ensure you don’t miss out on finding the best buyer. Drawing in a high number of buyers generates competition and multiple offers for our clients. Unsurprisingly, competition is what sets records at the Olympic Games, and it’s also how Summit sets sale price records in the region.
