It’s situated 25km north of Blenheim and 65km west of Wellington. Picton is a major hub in New Zealand’s transport network, connecting the South Island road and rail network with ferries across the Cook Strait to Wellington and the North Island. With one fifth of New Zealand’s coast and New Zealand’s biggest wine region a short drive away, Picton is so much more than somewhere you just get off the ferry.
